Turns out that this wedding planning is less than bliss. On the weekend I went home to see my friend Sarah who is getting married in June and went to a bridal show. Megh, free stuff is good. But tiresome having people talk at you non-stop.
I realized that it is almost impossible to please everyone. Either my mother is less than amused or my sisters have so many things to say that I want to collapse exclaiming defeat.

If they're giving you money, then they can demand some things, and if not, you should use a mix of righteous indignation and guilting to make them feel bad about trying to push their wishes on you. It's the Christian thing to do!
"This is MY wedding, and [you've already had yours/you'll have your own someday], and this isn't all about what YOU want!"
